4 X 4 Chunky Book "Words of Wisdom"

These are sure fun to make I think I am catching on. I had my husband get me a drill bit to drill holes for the yarn and beads. I was using an exacto knife at first, not as neat. When I get my returns I will drill them too. I have a few people that I would like to trade one on one with so you may be seeing more of these here. I posted one before I put all the fluff n stuff on it so you could read the quote .

My husband is on the left and Norm, Dad to my Daughter-in-Law HEATHER, on the right. The two little guys are Thomas and Logan my grandson's.

Heather and the Farm Chicks

Wowzer....what a fun show...so much fantastic stuff to browse. Wish I could have been to that one. I loved her mannequin so I thought I would share mine. I posted her a long time ago on my flickr. It has been fun to display the pendants and necklace's that I make on her. Please check out Heather's blog you won't be disappointed.http://heatherbullard.typepad.com/heather_bullard_collectio/

4 x4 Words of wisdom swap

This was fun and I got a few others started today. They are in the process of drying. I used a mat finish on them. It was fun picking the quotes that went with pictures.

Three More Days Til Father's Day

With Father's Day just a couple of day's away I thought I would share something I made of my father-in-law who passed away a few years ago. I just love the way they dressed their baby's, even the boys were frilly. I thought the background was beautiful so I used an element that was similar. I thought the silver plated tray would make a nice frame and I used chipboard letters for his initials that I embossed with the heat gun in silver.

Altered Charm

Save it!! Don't throw it away......you might be able to turn it in to ART.

These charms were made out of old broken watch parts. Some have a picture sealed on the top and many have beads. They were all made for a swap and traded away.

June Moon and lots of Glitter

These were very fun to make. I made a few different ones but my favorite was the one I used my little great niece as the subject matter. She was wearing a little princess costume with a crown so the rest was easy.
