Is it Fall Already?

It seems like this Summer just flew by. We just had our County Fair and for me that means the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall...We had a cool change in the weather and even a little shower, but it didn't dampen the spirit of all the Fair goers.  Saturday night we enjoyed the bull riding. Today my back is paying the price for sitting on metal bleachers and benches and walking for three days.  It was fun to connect with friends and family. Have an Artful week...................Hugs, Diane

"REJOYCE AND BE GLAD."  No matter what life throws at us...this is a day that the Lord has made.

This is the second in a set of six that were made for a swap I am in.  The theme was to alter an envelope by cutting it in half and making a book page out of each half of the envelope.  You also had to use on your page "wings, words and numbers."  The cut envie will have a pocket to put tags in...F U N.. ..ENJOY YOUR DAY............DIANE Glass

Mural in grand style

Mural in grand style and size.  I had seen this on the artists' web site and was lucky enough to see it in person over the weekend.  It is wonderful.   Duane Flatmo is the artist you can see more of his work by clicking this link

Transformation of an ordinary business size envelope. The white legal size envie 9.5 x 4 1/8.  Just seal the envelope and cut it in half. The left side is to bind into a book and the right open side is to fill with tags and fluffy stuff.  The theme is Wings and Things. and must contain three elements. WINGS, NUMBERS AND TEXT. Here is my first one.
Not reading the rules close enough I missed the part where you are suppose to add the three elements to the back of the page, so this will have some additional work, before it is finished.
Have an artful weekend and take time for yourself...............DIANE
